The Live Document Editor gives you ways to define page-level changes live, using advanced editing tools. The pages are imported through an XML description file that is supplied by a web server. The XML format describes page attributes, blocks, texts, geometric shapes, coordinates, images, effects, validation patterns, and others.

Apart from understanding and converting the XML format into Flash components, behaviors and effects, we had to track and save all the user changes into a similar XML format, and export it to the webserver for later processing.

It was a very interesting and technical web application, being part of the web-to-print solution provided by our client. It also supports dynamic control panels, embedded fonts, and versatile hypertext content.
